PMP v3 Ending June 30th

If you are studying for your PMP exam, do note that the current version, V3 is going to end on the 30th of June. V4 will take over from the 1st of July.

How will this affect the exams?
If you have undergone training for V3, make sure you take the exam for V3 as there are significant amount of changes in the new one. Also, as a tradition, newer versions of PMP certifications are tougher than its predecessors. Plus, you will probably be the guinea pigs if you decide to take the exam head-on in the first six months. Without a whole lot of idea about the exam, you will end up being a sitting duck.

My suggestion, take the exam now and don’t wait for the last day in June. Reason : If you do not clear the exam the first time, you will probably need to ensure that you could get another slot before the deadline.
