ITIL for Project Managers

Many people in IT believe that ITIL is something that is practiced at a junior level, and management of it is same as anything else. I agree to an extent, but will follow it with some questions.

How do you know what your team is doing is the right thing and the best thing for them to do?

How do you set goals and evaluate them if you don’t know your team’s functionality?

Where will your team look up to when they need guidance?

There are a lot more questions to ask, but I know you got the idea.

I have written an article on the importance on ITIL for project managers on Train Signal Training. I have considered project managers in a project setting as well. Let me know what you think of it?
